A tedius project of extracting microsamples of pure guitar solo from popular recordings of guitar rock, i.e. taking a moment between drum
beats with the bass guitar muted, were stretched and pulled, processed and layered to build new compositions entirely from this source
material. The new compositions were meant to exist antithetical to the sources from which they came and are titled simply from the sample
which each was built. Even though the audio has no audible resemblance to its source, both Warner Brothers and Experience Hendrix insisted
that the project be stopped.
